From January 21–23, 2026, the entire knowmad mood Germany team gathered in the
historic city of Regensburg for our annual Kick-Off event. These three days were filled
with exchange, learning, strategic focus, and memorable moments that strengthened us as
a team.
The event began in the morning, as colleagues arrived and checked in before 12:00 pm.
With snacks, coffee, and drinks available, the atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for a
warm meet & greet.
We kicked off with a shared review of the past year. Together, we reflected on the
challenges, highlights, customer projects, and milestones of 2025. It became clear: the
past year was intense, dynamic, and full of valuable lessons.
After looking back, we shifted our focus forward:
What are our goals for 2026? What opportunities lie ahead? Which topics should we drive
together?
Everyone was encouraged to participate and share their insights.
Following a coffee break and plenty of informal conversations, we continued with our
Group Strategy Session, setting the overall direction for the new year.
The second day was dedicated to focused work in two separate groups:
1) Technical Consultants & Engineers
2) Back Office & Sales
This structure allowed each group to dive deep into their specific topics-processes,
collaboration, tools, challenges, and improvements. The discussions were productive,
open, and solution focused.
Before heading to dinner, we explored Regensburg together on a guided city tour.
The walk through the medieval old town, narrow lanes, historic buildings, and UNESCO
World Heritage atmosphere brought an extra cultural highlight to the day.
The evening continued in a medieval-style restaurant, where we enjoyed a hearty meal
and unforgettable entertainment by a jester. His performance filled the evening with
laughter, fun, and a lighthearted team vibe, an experience we won’t forget anytime soon.
The final day started with a dynamic Quiz & Consulting Session, blending knowledge,
interaction, and good fun.
After another coffee break, we moved into our marketing-focused segment:
“Let’s talk and get started.”
We discussed positioning, communication goals, and the marketing priorities for 2026,
clear, aligned, and ready to go.
A final wrap-up session summarized the key takeaways of the Kick-Off before we all
departed.
Our Kick-Off 2026 was a great success:
intense discussions, strategic alignment, valuable exchanges and all of it in person, which
made the experience even richer. The three days in Regensburg strengthened our
collaboration, deepened our shared vision, and set the tone for a successful year ahead.
With renewed motivation and strong team spirit, we are ready for 2026!
